We've actually only been out and about after midnight a couple of times. It's strange in some ways because you know that it is the middle of the night time-wise, but people are still out doing all kinds of things at 1 or 2 in the morning--like walking their dogs, playing football (soccer), doing yard work, etc. These are just a few photos taken after midnight. In the photos of the sun (which were taken from the end of our building about 1:30 in the morning, looking due north), it looks like the sun is about to set--but it isn't--it just continues along the horizon, getting higher in the sky as it goes along. The bottom three photos were taken from sentrum (downtown), and are interesting to us, I guess, because we see the sun cast its rays from a direction that we are not used to seeing.
