The last day that we were in Kristiansand (July 27), it rained heavily. Our train was scheduled to depart at 5:15 p.m., so we put on our rain ponchos and took some time in the morning to walk around downtown some more, and were able take a few pictures inside Kristiansand's catherdral (on our earlier visit a service was being conducted). Karen-Mai fixed us a delicious early dinner (about 3 p.m.) and Odd drove us over the the train station about 5. We really can't thank them enough for inviting us, and for putting us up (putting up with us?) and entertaining us for a week. It was just a wonderful getaway, and it was so good to spend time with them. They really made us feel like we were at home.
